Where the Road Ends, the Keys Begin
The Florida Keys are more than a string of islands at the end of the road—they’re a state of mind. It’s salt in your hair, a cold drink at sunset, bare feet under the table, old boats at the dock, music drifting out of a waterfront bar, and nowhere you really need to be in a hurry. You don’t have to be a Conch or even call the Keys home to understand it. Maybe you came for a weekend, maybe you were just passing through on your way to Mile Marker 0—but somehow, the Keys get under your skin. And if you’re lucky enough to catch the Keys bug—and no, we’re not talking about lobsters—you’ll probably have it for life. Because once you discover that little stretch of paradise where the road runs out and life gets a whole lot more interesting, part of you never really leaves.
